During one of his runs, Jun Yin emerged from the fog and found himself back in Hong Kong in 1978. In this year, there were no reality TV shows dominating the screen, no blockbuster movies with familiar special effects, and no hit songs we could sing along to. In this year, Hong Kong dramas weren't yet producing hit after hit, Hong Kong movies hadn't taken all of Asia by storm, and Hong Kong songs hadn't yet become popular on the mainland. In this year, classics had not yet become nostalgic, and the city's splendor had not yet faded. In this year, heroes were still in their prime, and beauties had not yet grown old. Though our youth has passed, the memories remain. This piece is dedicated to reminiscing about the era we once loved so deeply. This piece is dedicated to remembering the green years of our past.
